The program sessions cover such topics as the composing process; grading and assessment; issues of gender, race, and class; the use of contingent, adjunct, and part-time faculty; the tenure debate; intellectual property; and the way technologies are reshaping the teaching of rhetoric and composition. Wheelchairs are available on a first come, first serve basis and cannot be reserved prior to arrival. Wheelchairs can be checked out at the Event Services Office on Level 1 of the Convention Center. There is no charge to borrow a wheelchair; however, a driver’s license is required and will be held until the wheelchair is returned.
