Description

EAA AirVenture Oshkosh (formerly the EAA Annual Convention and Fly-In) also known as Oshkosh Air Show is the world's largest annual gathering for recreational pilots and aviation enthusiasts held each summer in Oshkosh, WI, offering action, education, entertainment, and everything in between. Visitors will see unique historic aircraft, an iconic homebuilder, a country music icon, and more. The show is huge and grows every year, so there is always something new to be seen, including the highly anticipated night airshow on Wednesday and Saturday. The show is truly meant for everyone – from the veteran pilot to a young child fascinated by planes. The entire show is designed as a real experience, including exclusive access to unique aircraft from around the world.

The large number of aircraft arrivals and departures during the fly-in week makes the Wittman Field FAA control tower the busiest in the world for that week in number of movements. The EAA AirVenture Oshkosh fly-in has a large economic impact to the Oshkosh area as well as the state of Wisconsin.

The Oshkosh Air Show is a dream come true for true aviation nerds. At this huge event, the largest non-military air show in the world, visitors can see everything from sea plane bases to home-built aircraft. From airplanes to rockets to drones, if it can be piloted, it can be represented at this annual fly-in air show. Attractions range from classic planes like B-29s and to performances by the Navy’s Blue Angels to innovations in airplane building. It’s truly a place where even people without a previous interest in airplanes might feel differently by the end.
