About SWVS 2026
Southwest Veterinary Symposium (SWVS) is a four-day regional symposium designed for the entire veterinary profession, offering continuing education, exhibits, interactive labs, and social activities. The event will take place September 17–20, 2026, at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas, United States. First held in 2002, the 2026 event marks its 23rd edition. SWVS 2026 is not a family-friendly event and is not open to the public.
About the Organizer
SWVS is a partnership combining the efforts of the Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas VMAs, and an allied partnership with the Alabama, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri and Tennessee VMAs, Oklahoma Veterinary Technician Association and Texas Association of Registered Veterinary Technicians.
