Organized by Southern Council of Optometrists, South Eastern Congress of Optometry (SECO) is a five-day international trade show and congress focused on the profession of optometry. The event will take place February 25 – March 1, 2026, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. First held in 1924, the 2026 event marks its 102nd edition. SECO 2026 is not a family-friendly event and is not open to the public.

Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, Southern Council of Optometrists (SoCO) is a not-for-profit association founded in 1923 comprised of the state optometric associations of the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.
About the Venue
Opened its doors in 1976 and located in the heart of Downtown Atlanta, Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC) is one of the nation's largest convention centers for meetings, trade shows, conferences, film productions, and much more. The GWCC featuring 1.5 million square feet of prime exhibit space and is the world’s largest LEED certified convention center.
